The alloying process of Alnico is casting or sintering. Jack Magnetics supply  1.3 MGOe ~6.0 MGOe for Sintered Alnico, 1.5 MGOe~9.0 MGOe for Cast Alnico.Feature of Alnico

  • High working temperature limit(550 °C / 1020 °F), low temperature coefficient(-0.02%/°C); It makes Alnico well suited for some applications need to working at high temperature.
  • Alnico magnet can be an isotropic material(which can be magnetized in any direction.); it can be applied in some special devices.
  • Alnico Magnet is oriented by the process of heat treatment which is different from other permanent magnets like Neodymium magnet, Samarium cobalt Magnet, Ceramic Magnet. It makes Alnico can be produced to many different magnetic direction such like U shaped Magnet , Horseshoe Magnet etc.
  • Alnico Magnet resist corrosion very well and they are usually employed in applications with no coatings or plating.
  • Alnico magnet can be plated or coated with a variety of materials for other requirement like bonding, increasing the surface hardness,etc.
