Sintered Neodymium Magnet(also known as NdFeB, Neo magnet), the most widely used type of rare-earth magnet, is one permanent Magnet made from an alloy of Neodymium,iron, boron and other elements to form the Nd2Fe14B tetragonal crystalline structure. They developed in 1982 by General Motors and Sumitomo Special Metals. This two company hold most of the patents of this materials, beside they are familiar with the rules and laws of patents. But The Chinese factories are the largest supplier of this materials. In 1983, there have been factories produce this type of material, but no patents was applied. neodymium magnets are the strongest type of permanent magnet commercially available. They have replaced other magnet in many application in modern products that require strong permanent magnets, such as motors, automotive industries. Some new industries like electric autos, mobile phone and other high technology devices will request more neodymium magnets.
